Was instant36 für den erweiterten österreichischen Raum (und Berlin36 für Professionals) gibt es auch von Apple. Das Insomnia Film Festival startet am 13. Oktober um 9.00 Uhr Eastern Time (also partytaugliche 6 Stunden früher, um 3 Uhr vormittag in Europa) und lässt den TeilnehmerInnen 24 Stunden Zeit, um zumindest eins der vom Veranstalter verlautbarten Elemente wie Dialoge oder Requisiten in ihre 3minütigen Filme einzubauen und hochzuladen. Als Preise winken Äpfel.
The Raval represents in this work the local expression of globalization. It is a cultural niche of constant activity and, at the same time a source of artistic creativity. These images show a street art marked by social and cultural differences and a an urban rhythm of a city in constant change.
Creative Common Photos taken from flickr.com and the music of 12rec.net artist rob steady were used to apply a decentralized creative workflow.

This is the Valina US tour 2004 movie. Some words by Anatol:
..So we got on this plane in Vienna. Destination Minneapolis/ Minnesota/ USA. None of us ever asked what we can expect. A small band from Austria? No questions, officer! A couple of tours through Europe in our hands and bad sleeping places in our bones. Some phone calls and many more emails later we had the first barbecue and diarrhea in the US. It may sound complicated to secretaries and pathetic to the rest, but it has something to do with freedom if you play music in a band…. sit packed in a small white van for hours with your friends, play stages dirtier than the thoughts of the sound engineer, meet people where you know from the beginning that these can be your friends for the next 10 years, keep eating bad food in gas stations, talk for hours about music, politics and sexual standards,… and play your music live to people who are at this moment part of the whole thing. And it´s a good thing. I like it.

bleed ist nun seit einem Jahr online! deshalb gibt es ein wenig Statistik und eine offline-Vorführung. zuerst die Daten: bleed hatte im ersten Jahr durschnittlich 8500 BesucherInnen pro Monat, davon kommt fast jede/r vierte zurück, d.h. 2500 unterschiedliche BesucherInnen. Insgesamt sind das um die 100000 Besuche, 455.71 Gigabytes macht die gesamte geladene Datenmenge aus. 33 Filme sind bis dato online.
Um die Filme ins Kinoereignis zurückzuholen, wird am 22. Oktober um 20Uhr in der KAPU (Linz) ein BestOf-Programm vorgeführt [das auch schon vor zwei Wochen im White Club in Salzburg zu sehen war].
